Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association is announcing that this year’s football all-state meeting will be conducted virtually via a Zoom meeting.
The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association, in conjunction with the Iowa Football Coaches Association, continues to work out the specific details but our goal is to conduct the all-state meeting virtually as close as possible to an in-person meeting this year. We feel this goal is reachable, and believe this is the safest way to ensure that athletes are recognized for their achievements this season.
We will have additional information regarding membership dues, etc.
The all-state selection meeting will begin, via Zoom, at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. Please RSVP to iowasportswriters@gmail.com and you’ll receive the Zoom link by the Friday prior to access the meeting. All participants will join the meeting together for announcements, and then we will utilize the breakout rooms feature in Zoom to create virtual class meetings for each class. When RSVPing, please indicate the class you plan to vote in (or classes you may vote in if you’re unsure).
