The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association will hold virtual selection meetings for its boys and girls all-state basketball teams. Nominations are currently being taken from coaches and sports writers.
The meetings will be held via the Zoom platform. We are asking that all sports writers and coaches submit their nominations through our online platform in advance of the meeting. We will continue to take nominations at the selection meeting, but the meeting will run more smoothly if nominations are provided in advance.
DATE/TIMES FOR THE MEETINGS
Girls basketball: Sunday, March 7 at 10 a.m.
Boys basketball: Saturday, March 13 at 10 a.m.
Zoom information will be distributed to those who RSVP to iowasportswriters@gmail.com. Please indicate which meeting(s) you plan to attend. It is possible to join the meeting by audio-only via telephone, but it is not recommended.
All coaches and all IPSWA member sports writers are invited to attend. Please note any existing IPSWA member has had their renewal dues waved until fall 2021. If you are not a current member, a $15 membership is required.

Deadline for girls basketball nominations are March 6 at 11 p.m. Deadline for boys basketball nominations are March 12 at 11 p.m.
All varsity head coaches and all newspaper sports writers (even non-IPSWA members) are eligible to provide nominations.
