DES MOINES — The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association is announcing dates, times and locations of its upcoming basketball all-state selection meetings.
Note, the location has changed from years prior, and is different for each meeting.
Nominations are being taken until March 3 at 11:59 p.m. for girls basketball. Nominations for boys basketball are being taken until March 10 at 11:59 p.m.
Contact the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association at iowasportswriters@gmail.com to receive the nomination link and information. All coaches and sports writers may nominate in advance of the meeting.
As a note: nominations will still be taken by sports writers and coaches during the meetings.
Sports writers must be a paid IPSWA member in order to attend and vote. All coaches are welcome to attend and do not need to be a member.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
The girls basketball all-state selection meeting will begin at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 5. It will take place inside the Press Workroom at Wells Fargo Arena. Enter through the VIP/media entrance (on the NW side of the building).
BOYS BASKETBALL
The boys basketball all-state selection will begin at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 12. The meeting will be held inside the Hy-Vee Hall just north of the Hall of Pride.
